set width of individual item

Hi,
How do I set width for each individual menu item on level[x].
I know if we specify myCoolMenu.level[0].width=70 then all top level item will have width of 70. But how should I override for individual emnu item ??? this link does not tell much http://dhtmlcentral.com/projects/coo...asp?m=48&id=13 .. how to do it with menu-config.xml or config.js file???
Please help me out !!!!
