The list iswider than the containing block.

The dl should be positioned to the left by default, but IE puts it as inline, right next to the span and makes it way too wide.

It could be. You might be able to buy something from that list, but what if you went there in your fav browser (we all know you love IE Tim) and it didn't work?

Well, I'm tryina make it work. I will, but hopefully w/o too much struggle.

Gonna make IE my bitch now.

I have a second testcase now that doesn't work right in FF. The DT's are too narrow.

You can see that the DT elements do not fill the width of the containing DL element. What would cause that?
