SlideMenu/ScrollText Combo Not Browser Compatible

I'm doing a website for a non-profit churchh organization and I cannot seem to get both a Slide Menu and a Scroll Text box to work in all browsers. Firefox works perfectly but Safari and IE are still having problems.
