SlideMenu2 -- keep menu expanded on page reload

When the page reloads I would like the currently selected link/section to remain expanded. Currently, when you click on a link, the page requested loads, however the nav bar collapses and doesn't stay expanded to the appropriate page/link. Is there a solution for this?

I know this script has been out for a while...since 2002... phew... I'm a bit behind the times, given it's now 2006. But, four years later this is still the closest script I've found that's consistent with what I want.

I've been searching in the forums, and used the search function. But I haven't had any luck. I'm seeing stars, and I would appreciate any help anyone has to offer.
