Thanks for the link, but do you know of any free one's?
I'm also looking around for an FTP program, too. </Mike> |

I don't use a Mac. The other people here do and they use Fetch:

I had Fetch, but it was being really picky with my server address. It still makes no sence to me, but I can get it to work now. So, FTP is all taken care of.
After a lot of searching and downloading useless text editors (that would *only* save files as .txt), I found out my university installed Dreamweaver on here so I'm using that to edit my code. If anyone knows of a very simple and free text editor for the mac that *will* save different file types (I mainly work in .htm, .asp, .css, and .js), please let me know! Thanks, </Mike> |

Thanks for all the help, everyone. I think I'm all set now.
Turns out I had BBEdit lite on my computer already, but at first I couldn't save it as anything but *.txt. I goofed around in preferences for a while and found out I could set file extensions to general. (I wonder why that wouldn't just be default...) Also, Fetch is working fine for me as well... ...even though I hate macs... ![]() Thanks again! </Mike> |
