Setting an Active Link Colour in FrameSet

I have a FrameSet with 2 Frames. Left is the Navigation and Right is the Content. When I click on the Left Frame the corresponding Content is displayed in Right Frame. But what I want is to somehow show the link clicked on in Left Frame in a Different Colour. What happens is that the moment I click on the Right Frame, the focus is LOST and the link is back to the old Colour. I am using ALINK as a specific Bold Font and RED Colour. But I want to Preserve it ... Also, when I click on any other link ... the current link must be set to that Bold Font and RED Colour and the Previous one RESET to the old one. This will help me Identify where I am in the Left Navigation Pane.
