Opera does not support XSL formatting objects, and neither does it natively support XSLT transformations.

XSL and XML are not the same thing; you can include support for one without the other.

But I haven't heard of Opera supporting XML either, Mark, do you have a link?

I know how it works with xsl, i made some pages with xsl.

Opera support XML with XHTML: styling tags with css.
But in XML mode the script element is not supported. :evil:
