I posted one I made a while ago.. I thought it was an original idea but now realize it's been done... This certainly puts mine to shame, nice. I think the main use of one of these programs would be in game faqs, I've seen alot of asc art in those.

Tools that render images in ASCII, and generally make ASCII art, have been around for a long time.
